Hi second time I have used your designs. Thanks so much, Works Great looks great in Mozilla. However in IE the right sidebar does not stay right. I have looked at the page.php and the sidebar.php and unable to resolve the issue in ie. Can you be of assistance? Thanks much.

Seems OK on my test site and other sites. But yes you version seems to be having problems.

    1. make sure you have used the latest version from this site (and not ones from other theme galleries which tend to be less up to date).

2.Try without your calendar which seems to be grabbing a lot of width.

I’m trying out the great theme in my church’s website using WP 2.7. Can you tell me how to remove the underlines in the page links when you view any page but home? I suspect it is related to the narrow width of the sidebar.
    Thanks and blessings. – Ron

    Hi,

I’m test driving Delta for a possible new installation. One challenge I’m finding is that new pages with names of any length overlap with the pages above or below them. For instance, I had to change “Open & Affirming” to “Open & Aff’g.” I looked around a little bit in the templates and couldn’t quite figure out the right place to change stuff. Any hints?

Our test site is at http://childsfamily.com/firstchurches.

    Thanks!

  • 9 Tim ~ Feb 17, 2009 at 3:01 pm

I’m afraid you just need to use short page names. The design of this theme kind of restricts this.

  • 10 Bill Childs ~ Feb 18, 2009 at 2:20 pm

Okay, thanks. Kinda figured, but worth asking.

    Really enjoying the theme.

    Tim,

Thanks a lot for all the hard work on the site. I have been using Delta initially, but I am really looking at Mu Urban. SupaKewl!

In Delta, is there a way to make the list of child pages for a particular parent page show up when viewing one of the children of that parent? Kind of a bummer to have to mouse or keyb’d back to the previous page to get the list of subs again, but overall it is rockin!

    Thanks!

  • 12 Tim ~ Apr 24, 2009 at 7:05 am

Yes, I know what you mean. It would involved some extra code. It is something I put into Mu, but haven’t incorporated into other themes as yet.

  • 13 Kevin ~ Apr 26, 2009 at 12:37 pm

On the main page (index.html) I haven’t been able to get links to appear scrolling to earlier articles. I seem to be stuck with just the number allowed on one page.

Can you suggest how to accomplish accessing older articles?

    Hi, Love this theme!

Is there anyway to keep the header image on pages other than the main index? Your help would be greatly appreciated :0)

  • 15 Tim ~ May 18, 2009 at 7:20 am

You will need to wrap the content div element in each page you want it (single.php, page.php etc) with <div id=”main”> </div>

This is the main difference between index and other pages and results in header image.

Thanks Tim, I’ll give it a whirl :0)

I recently rolled out Delta on my website, but noticed that comments do not show on pages for some reason (only blog posts). I’m going through the code but nothing is jumping out as obvious to me. Can you assist? Much appreciated for your work on this theme!

  • 25 Tim ~ Aug 9, 2009 at 7:55 am

This is by design and is the case with the vast majority of themes. You can add the code to make it add comments, but since pages are static content, themes don’t usually provide this by default.

Thank you for the Themes. I’ll be modifying them for our own use, but this gives us a great start and examples to work from.

  • 27 Vic ~ Nov 13, 2009 at 12:48 am

Can you further explain how to have the header image show up on pages. I can’t seem to figure it out.

  • 28 Vic ~ Nov 16, 2009 at 12:39 am

OK, figured it out. I had copied and pasted it in, but the quote marks were not right and had to be replaced.

    Thanks for great theme.

  • 29 Vic ~ Nov 16, 2009 at 5:46 am

OK, new problem. When I view a specific post on my site the footer jumps up and is behind the header image and the formatting of the page gets messed up. This only happens when I am NOT logged in as an admin.

It happens in FF3.5, IE8 and Chrome.

Also, in Chrome if I view archives for a category the font gets huge.
